QA Engineer – CAD Software Development | Pune

A global software development consultancy serving engineering, manufacturing, and construction industries is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team.

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to support the development and maintenance of our internal tools and automation systems. Our internal projects are aimed at streamlining business operations, optimizing workflow automation, and enhancing collaboration across teams. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of internal software solutions through thorough manual testing, defect tracking, and contribution to continuous process improvement.

LOCATION: Pune, India

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

2+ year as a Quality Assurance Engineer

EDUCATION:

BE or MS in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Solid understanding of  the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with QA/Test Methodologies and best practices
• Solid understanding of manual test planning against complex software systems
• Experience in testing desktop, web and cloud applications
• Good working knowledge of Windows (windows features, IIS, applications, accounts, services etc.)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox
• Good working knowledge of bug tracking systems (Jira, Redmine)
• Basic knowledge and usage of Automation tools

DUTIES: 

• Communication with teams to plan and manage work on a project
• Improving and developing testing strategies, test plans and test cases
• Manual testing of desktop, web-based and mobile applications
• Collaborate effectively with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data needs and resolve quality issues
