A specialized design services firm delivering projects for European automotive clients, focused on seating systems and automotive components. The company also partners with leading Indian OEMs for innovative seating system development. Work involves advanced, concept-level projects for special-purpose vehicles in Europe.

Role Overview

As a Design Engineer – Mechanical, you will play an integral role in designing and developing innovative automotive seating systems. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will work closely with vendors, manufacturing teams, and testing agencies to conceptualize, validate, and deliver high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop seating systems and components using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD

• Work with cross-functional teams, including vendors, test engineers, and manufacturing, if required

• Prepare and review detailed manufacturing drawings with a strong GD&T understanding

• Perform basic simulations when required

• Participate in design reviews, cost estimation, and requirements analysis

• Stay updated with new materials, processes, and technologies

• Coordinate effectively with vendor teams for smooth project execution

• Interpret customer requirements and ensure compliance with international standards

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (2024/2025/2026 versions)

• Experience with CAE tools and PDM systems (preferred)

• Solid knowledge of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and production processes

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

• Good understanding of automotive product design & validation

• Strong English communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
