Hiring Technical Support Engineer (3D CAD/CAE Software) – MIDC, Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits in the Pune area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to 3D CAD/CAE software functionality, installation, and performance.
- Assist clients in optimizing workflows using 3D CAD/CAE tools for design, simulation, and analysis.
- Conduct training sessions or demonstrations for clients to enhance their software proficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document client interactions, issues, and resolutions in a CRM system.
- Stay updated on the latest features and updates of supported 3D CAD/CAE software.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client needs and challenges.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: DME, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., ZW3D, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Fusion 360) and CAE software.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and simulation workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client requests efficiently.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and engineering applications is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Pune area for on-site client support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in any 3D CAD/CAE software
- Experience in providing technical support or training for CAD/CAE tools.
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is an advantage.
Location-Specific Details:
- Work Location: Based in Bhosari MIDC, Pune, with occasional travel to client sites in the Pune area.
- Work Environment: Office-based with fieldwork as required for client support.
