A leading Automotive Supplier is looking for a SOLIDWORKS Design Engineer to join its product development team in Pune.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D part and assembly models using SOLIDWORKS.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T and BOM.
• Develop sheet metal, machined, fabricated, and plastic component designs.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams for product development.
• Support design changes, engineering documentation, and ECO implementation.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SOLIDWORKS (Part, Assembly, and Drawing).
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance stack-up.
• Experience with sheet metal, welded assemblies, or automotive components is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product development.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design using SOLIDWORKS.
• Experience in the automotive or automotive supplier industry is preferred.
